USED SUMO STOMP / SUMO STOMP VER.2 [06]

The IBBI flagship compressor "U-II" loved by many top musicians has been made into a small MXR-sized chassis with the same functions. Despite the size and parts limitations, we have made it as close to the "U-II" as possible by upgrading the circuitry used and tuning the sound by selecting parts from a different perspective. When played at high volume, there is a slight difference in low-end, but the SUMO COMP has more of a high-frequency luster and youthful vigor.

The sidechain EQ has 2 positions on the SUMO COMP compared to 6 positions on the U-II, but you will not feel the lack of positions from 4-string to 6-string basses.

It can be powered not only by a 9V adapter but also by a common 5V mobile battery.
About the specification change
Like SUMO PRE, SUMO COMP is now VER. 2.

The previous power supply specifications supported power supply voltages from 5V to 9V with both ± and ± polarity, but now only a center-minus 9V adapter is available (the internal operating voltage is boosted to ±15V with no change).

The power supply filter circuit has been strengthened, and the type of wire has been reviewed again for sound tuning, so VER.2 has a fuller low midrange and richer mids. This, combined with the compress operation that compresses the sound, has resulted in a very dense sound.

There are some scratches and stains, but there are no operational problems.
