The wood has a dense, substantial feel typical of this vintage.\u003cbr\u003e \nThe sound is also typical of the late 70s—powerful with a slight compression and a crisp tone—making it perfect for playing styles like cutting that draw inspiration from the music of that era.\u003cbr\u003e \nAt our repair center, we have re-wound the front pickup, straightened the neck, refretted the guitar, replaced the nut, and corrected the fingerboard.\u003cbr\u003e \nThe body was stripped of its original finish and refinished with a clear coat, but it lacks luster and shows signs of cracking, chipping, lifting, and clouding in the finish.\u003cbr\u003e \nThe neck has also been oversprayed and shows cracks and chips in the finish. There are some areas where you may feel slight resistance when playing.\u003cbr\u003e \nIt appears the tuning pegs have been replaced, and additional screw holes have been drilled to secure them.\u003cbr\u003e \nThere are dents and playwear throughout the instrument.
