It is equipped with Kluson tuners—the double-knob, single-line style known from models dating from the late 1960s onward.\u003cbr\u003e \nThe neck features a slim taper profile that offers excellent playability, allowing you to fully enjoy the light, responsive feel characteristic of early ES-335s.\u003cbr\u003e \nMeanwhile, the pickguard incorporates the short guard seen on later 1963 models, recreating details unique to this transitional period.\u003cbr\u003e \nThis “dot inlays × short pickguard” combination is known as a specification found only during a very limited period around 1961 and early 1962, making it an irresistible feature even for vintage ES-335 enthusiasts with deep knowledge of the model.\u003cbr\u003e \nAdditionally, starting around 1962, the ES-335 featured new routing near the rear pickup, increasing the cavity volume and resulting in a sound with a more airy quality.
