Gibson / 1978 Dove Custom [Vintage][Made in 1978]

Well maintained and revived Vintage Dove!

Dove was born in 1962 as a square shoulder model after Hummingbird. At that time, it had a TUNE-O-MATIC bridge, but it was changed to non-adjustable in 1970, double X bracing in 1971, and ebony fingerboard in 1975.

Spruce top, maple side/back, 3-piece maple neck with volute, ebony fingerboard, long scale, double X-bracing specs.

Bridge plate, pegs (to Grover pegs), fret and nut saddles have been replaced. The bridge pin hole was gouged out, so the veneer has been reinforced, the fretboard has been repaired, and the neck angle has been adjusted.

There are some minor dents and scratches.
The pickguard is a little worn, but it is relatively clean considering it is 45 years old. There is a peg replacement mark on the back of the head.
There is plenty of truss rod room, and the frets have been replaced, so there is plenty of height left.

It has been well maintained, so the sound is excellent!
The bottom is crisp, the midrange is clean, and the mids and highs are sparkling.

しっかりとメンテナンスされ、蘇ったVintageダブ！

1962年にハミングバードに次いでスクエアショルダーモデルとして誕生したダブ。当時はTUNE-O-MATICブリッジでしたが、1970年にはノンアジャスタブルに変わり、1971年にはダブルXブレーシングになり、1975年には指板にエボニーが使用されるようになりました。

スプルースTop、メイプルSide/Back、ボリュートつき3ピース・メイプルNeck、エボニー指板、ロングスケール、ダブルXブレーシングスペック。

ブリッジプレート、ペグ(Groverペグへ)、フレット・ナット・サドル交換済み。ブリッジピン穴部が抉れていたため突板補強、指板修整、Neck角度調整済み。Neckジョイント部着色済み。

細かな打痕、ひっかき傷が散在しています。
ピックガードの絵柄は若干削れている部分はございますが、45年前の個体と考えると比較的綺麗に残っているほうです。ヘッド裏にペグ交換痕が残っています。
トラスロッド余裕あり、フレットも交換しているので充分高さが残っています。

しっかりとメンテナンスがされておりますので、鳴りも抜群！
ストレートなサウンド傾向ながら、ギブソン独特のアタック感も出しつつ、ボトムは歯切れよく、ミッドレンジはすっきりしており、ミッド～ハイは煌びやかに奏でてくれています。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
