This is a 7" deep model of the YD9000 series snare drum, one of Yamaha's most popular drum models.
It is believed to have been spec'd around the early 1980's.

The 6ply shell made of Hokkaido birch and painted with real wood is a domestic work of art.
The edge corners are also rounded to produce a very fat and low sound.
It has a very wide tuning range, with a low pitch that takes advantage of the 7" depth, but does not sound thin even when pitched high.
Originally, it was fully tuned, but now it is equipped with an internal snappy (made by Canopus).

Overall, there is a sense of use commensurate with its age, and the pits on the parts are a little strong. There is a lot of minor rust and scratches, and it has been used to a certain extent, but the shell itself seems to have no particular problems, and the sound is powerful.
It has been maintained and is still in good condition for use without any problems.

ヤマハドラムを代表するYD9000シリーズのスネアドラム、深さ7インチモデルです。
1980年代前期頃の仕様と思われます。

北海道産のバーチを使用した6plyシェルにリアルウッド塗装を施したシェルは国産の芸術品。
エッジ角も丸めなので、非常にファットでローの効いたサウンドが生み出せます。
7インチの深さを活かしたローピッチでも、ハイピッチにしても音痩せせず、非常にチューニングのレンジも広いです。
元々は全面あたりですが、現状内面あたりスナッピー(カノウプス製)装着しております。

全体的に年式相応の使用感があり、パーツのピッツがやや強い印象です。細かいサビ、キズも多く、それなりに使い込まれてはいますが、シェル自体は特に問題ない印象で、鳴りもパワフル。
メンテナンス済みで、まだまだ十分問題なくお使いいただけるコンディション。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
