This 20-inch ride with "large logo" engraving is said to have been produced in the mid-1950s.

It has the brightness that is typical of the A series, but also has complex overtones and vibrations that are a bit muddy, and is the one and only cymbal of its generation that can express the unique tone of the A series of that time. This is the one and only cymbal of the generation that can express the unique tone of the A series at that time.

This one in particular is very thin, and when struck, the entire cymbal vibrates and flexes.
The cup is reasonably firm, but the bow section feels quite thin.
The tone is soft and warm sounding, which is not typical of other generations of A-Gills.
It has the brightness typical of A, but is very delicate and bluesy.

The thinness of the bowl may cause some overall distortion, but there is no problem with the sound at all.
The center hole also seems to be slightly worn, but this is not a problem in terms of playing.
The sound is superb, with no major damage such as chipped edges, although the overall appearance is dull from age.
This is a valuable Old A vintage cymbal that is still in excellent working condition.

近年人気の高まっている1950年代のAジルジャンで、ハンドハンマリングも併用されていたため、現在のAシリーズとは全く異なる印象を持ち、Aらしい明るさを持ちつつも、すこし濁りのある複雑な倍音、振動を併せ持っており、当時のAシリーズの独特の音色を表現できる唯一無二の世代のシンバルです。

特にこちらの個体は非常に薄めで、叩くと全体が振動してたわみます。
カップはそれなりにしっかりしていますが、ボウの部分はかなり薄めに感じます。
音色は他の世代のAジルにはない柔らかくウォームな響き。
Aらしい明るさもあるものの、非常に繊細でブルージーなサウンドです。

薄めのため、全体的な歪みは生じているようですが、サウンドには全く問題なく、歪んでしまっているもののかえって金属自体の柔らかさを感じます。
センターホールもほんの僅かに削れ始めているようですが、演奏上全く問題ないレベルです。
全体の経年のくすみはありますが、エッジの欠けなどの大きなダメージはなく、サウンドは極上。
まだまだ十分現役の貴重なオールドAのビンテージシンバルです。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
