This is a Music Man StingRay 4-string model, made around 1978, which is synonymous with active basses.

Flat body, 1-piece maple neck, truss rod adjustable at head side, 3-point joint, bridge with sponge mute function (sponge is missing), late model humbucker PU with short polepiece, boost 2-band equalizer w/o center click. Top jack specification.Pot Date: 1377841

This is an easy-to-use guitar that boasts a fat sound with a core not only for slap playing, but also for a variety of sound variations with the boost 2-band EQ.

Please note the following.

There are some signs of use (color fading, lack of paint luster, minor scratches and scuffs on the outer surface, peeling paint on the fretboard and fretboard sides, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, bent pickguard screws, metal parts and screws are cloudy and rusty, etc.). Neck paint is stuck and will not come off.

The fretboard has been set up (treble pot replaced, cleaned, strings replaced, rod adjusted, octave adjusted, string height adjusted, nut replaced, and frets fretted) when it arrived. The truss rod has been checked to be working up to +90 degrees in the tightening direction (* The truss rod does not work well due to the different specification from the current model).

フラットなボディ、1Pメイプルネック、トラスロッドはヘッド側でアジャスト、3点止めジョイント、スポンジミュート機能を備えたブリッジ(スポンジ欠品しています)、ショートポールピースの後期型ハムバッカーPU、センタークリックの無いブースト2バンドイコライザー/トップジャック仕様です。Pot Date：1377841

芯のある野太いサウンドはスラップ奏法のみならず、ブースト2バンドEQによる多彩なサウンドバリエーションを誇る使い勝手の良い一本です。

年式相応の全体的に使用感(色ヤケ・塗装のツヤがない、外周に小キズ・引っかきキズ、指板面や指板サイド塗装剥がれ、スレや拭きスジ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、ピックガードのネジ部湾曲、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・サビ、等々)が見られます。ネック塗装固着で外れません。

入荷時にセットアップ(トレブルPOT交換・クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・ナット交換・フレットすりあわせ)済み、細身なフレット山は現状で演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向へ＋90°まで動作確認済み(* トラスロッドは現行モデルと異なる仕様の為、あまり効きません)です。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
