USED GRETSCH / 60s #4105 14x5.5 Snare Drum White Pearl 60s Gretsch Snare Drum [08]

This is a 1960s round badge Gretsch 6-tension wood snare.
There is no inner tag sticker, and the serial and year of manufacture are unclear, but based on the specifications, we can guess that this snare is a 4105, a junior class model from the 1960s.
Somewhat puzzling is the lack of an inner muffler and snap-in key ring.
However, the construction of the shell and the feel of the inner paint and covering are consistent with a 60's Gretsch, and it seems highly likely that it was not installed from the beginning for some reason.

The 6-ply maple thin shell has a soft and full sound with a die-cast trim that is unique to Gretsch.
Since it is a 6-tension, the range is narrow but not suffocating, and the impression is that it sounds very well.

The parts seem to be original except for the worn parts such as the snappy and head.
The covering is also slightly yellowed, but in good condition. The parts also show some pitting commensurate with its age, but there are no major damages, and the switches are in good condition.

The sound is Gretsch itself, and although it is a 6-tension, it gives the impression of being very easy to use.
The shell condition is good, and this vintage snare can still be used with confidence.
