The top has been treated with an aging toner.\u003cbr\u003e \nFeatures non-scalloped X-bracing and an ebony bridge.\u003cbr\u003e \nThe select hardwood neck, with a nut width of approximately 44.5 mm and a 25.4\" long scale, features an ebony fingerboard with binding.\u003cbr\u003e \nThe headstock is equipped with Grover Rotomatic tuners.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nSince arrival, the guitar has been cleaned, the strings replaced, the truss rod adjusted, the action adjusted, the frets leveled, and the binding repaired.\u003cbr\u003e \nThe truss rod has been tested up to 60 degrees in both directions and is functioning properly; although the frets have been leveled, there is still plenty of life left in them.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nThe body has scattered dents, scuffs, playing marks, and buckle marks.\u003cbr\u003e \nThere is some weather checking near the bottom of the bridge on the top of the body. There are steps and paint cracks visible along the binding.\u003cbr\u003e \nThe back of the neck has a sheen from playing and is scattered with fine scratches and dents.\u003cbr\u003e \nThere is a gap at the joint between the fingerboard binding and the nut.\u003cbr\u003e \nThere are also fine scratches visible on the headstock.\u003cbr\u003e \n* Although it is unlikely to be used, there is some stickiness remaining on the control knobs.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e \nAlthough there are signs of use, aging, and a faulty preamp, playability is excellent!\u003cbr\u003e \nThe well-balanced, sustain-rich Martin D-35 sound is still going strong!
