USED Gibson / Chet Atkins SST 1987 [09]

The Chet Atkins SST is a steel-string model featuring a dummy sound hole and a stag-shaped head with a script logo.
Body is spruce & mahogany & chromite, neck is mahogany, fingerboard is ebony, and pegs are Grover.

There is a history of refretting. The frets have been rubbed together. The strap pins are locking type.
The frets are generally low and flat, and there are some dents near the low frets. The guitar will be delivered in its current condition.
The paint is cracked and peeling on the back of the neck and sides of the fingerboard.
There are small paint peels and weather checks on the head, a crack at the truss rod cover screw hole, and a straight line of dents in the paint under the bridge at the center of the front of the body.
There are many scratches and dents on the body as a whole, and a small hole has been filled in the lower right side of the bridge on the front of the body.
There are also some scratches and pits on the metal parts, and the overall condition is good.
The case that comes with the instrument has a strong tobacco smell that cannot be removed by cleaning, and the smell has been transferred to the body of the instrument.

Truss rod: Tighten/loosen direction has room.
Fret remaining: 50-60%.
