The Benson model features a small 14 3/4" wide full acoustic body and a floating PU.

This model was made in Indonesia to reduce cost. Spruce top with maple side back. The neck is 3pcs maple, and the fingerboard is ebony.

Even though it is made in Indonesia, it is well made, and both ends of the frets are rounded off, giving it a high cost-performance ratio.
George Benson" has many followers! His lively phrases, sweet voice, ad-lib solos, and scatting in unison are the finishing touch. His style is a little like a smaller version of Johnny Smith's, with a character that is not found on the high street.
He can sing and dance (and roller skate!) as well as he does. You can't miss the ease with which he handles himself. This is one you should check out, even if you are not a fan!

こちらはインドネシア製とする事によりコストダウンを図ったモデル。スプルーストップで、サイドバックにはメイプルを採用。ネックはメイプルの3pcsとなっており、指板はエボニーとなっております。

インドネシア製といえどもしっかり作られており、フレット両端も丸めているなどコストパフォーマンスの高さを感じさせてくれます。
多くのフォロワーを生む『ジョージベンソン』!躍動するフレーズ、そしてスイートな歌声、とどめを指すかのごとく己のアドリブソロとユニゾンするスキャット!ジョニースミスを小振りにしたかの様な王道にはないキャラ立ちしたスタイル。
