TOKAI TE80-BL, believed to have been manufactured in the 80's, is now in stock!
This is one of the most attractive pieces with its enthusiasm for domestic copy models and arrangement by TOKAI. It is reminiscent of specifications around 1950s with its Sen body, maple 1P neck, 1P black pickguard, etc. The bridge has a brass 6-string saddle specification. The bridge is equipped with a brass 6-string saddle specification. The steep curve from the nut to the head and the use of brass for the nut material produce a bouncy tension and a sparkling tone.

The entire control system assembly has been replaced at a repair store (PU selector: made by CRL / Pots: made in Japan / Jack: made by SWITCHCRAFT) and the entire setup has been done. There are some age-appropriate damages such as color burns, dents, and paint cracks on the back side of the body toward the neck pocket. There are some string marks on the frets, but there are no problems in playing. The hardware has some rust and tarnish, but there are no problems with use.

Neck condition: No major problems.
There is enough room in the truss rod.
About 60% frets left (with some string marks)
String height on 12F 6th string: approx. 2.0mm, 1st string: approx. 1.6mm

国産コピーモデルへの熱意とトーカイによるアレンジが魅力的な1本。センボディ、メイプル1Pネック、1P黒ピックガードなど、50年前後の仕様を彷彿させます。ブリッジはブラス6連サドル仕様を搭載。また、ナットからヘッドにかけてのカーブが急であることと、ナット材にブラスを用いていることで、ハリのあるテンション感と煌びやかなトーンを生み出します。

リペアショップにてコントロール系統アッセンブリ一式の交換(PUセレクター:CRL製 / ポット:国産 / ジャック:SWITCHCRAFT製)、全体セットアップが行われております。全体的に色焼けや打痕、ボディ裏面に付着後、ネックポケット方ボディ側に塗装クラックといった年代相応のダメージ使用感がございます。フレットには多少弦跡こそありますが演奏上での問題は現状ございません。ハードウェアにはくすみや錆びといった劣化が各所に見られますが、現状使用上での問題はございません。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
