The switch position is EVH style and this Japanese model has been highly acclaimed recently. The body is made of alder and the neck is made of pasted maple. The back is not contoured, which is another point not to be missed. The neck shape is the well-known asymmetrical neck, and the fingerboard surface is bird's eye maple. The tremolo is a Music Man licensed Floyd Rose, the PU is a Dimarzio custom humbucker, the controls are only 1Vol, and the selector position is near the 1st string cutaway like EVH. The pot date is 1999, and the HI-END GUITARS logo is not visible inside the tremolo spring cavity on the body back.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, line scratches, and dents. There is a fine picking scratch on the right side between both PUs. There are also some small dents on the left side between both PUs due to the paint being pulled off. However, it is only visible in the light, so please do not worry about it too much. The top of the body is dotted with small and large dents, and there is a small scratch on the bottom of the bridge where a wrench was used to lock each string. The sides of the body are dotted with large and small dings, especially concentrated on the jack plate. The back plate on the body back is missing, and there are large and small dents scattered around the upper right corner of the body back. There are also minor scratches all over the body back. The back of the neck is darkened from use, and the smell of cigarettes, possibly from smoking, has seeped in. The paint is peeling at the tip of the head, and there is a line scratch on the top of the logo. The fingerboard has some paint peeling at the most frequently used positions. There are some scratches on the hardware, but there are no noticeable signs of use. The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller locking pins.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned to tighten and adjust. There are no string marks on the frets and about 70% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 1.5mm on the 1st string side.

Overall, although there are some solid signs of use and tobacco smell, the playability around the neck is solid. The body material is also Alder, which gives a firm sound and can be enjoyed as a sound variation for those who already have an AXIS or EVH.

Neck condition is fine.
The truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned in the direction to tighten and adjust.
About 70% frets remaining.
