This is a 2016 Gibson Custom Shop True Historic 1958 Les Paul Standard Murphy Aged.
At the time of production, the True Historic series had a set number of guitars produced per year.
The number of aged finish pieces produced per year was set at 50 pieces!
Furthermore, this piece was hand-aged by Tom Murphy, so the timing of its distribution in the current used market may be very limited.
No modification or parts replacement has been done, and this is a lightweight unit weighing approximately 3.69 kg that retains its original condition!
There are no problems with the playing or operating functions of the various parts, and the aged finish expresses the scratches and damage, cracks and stains in the paint film, and even the parts are stained and scratched, so you can immerse yourself in playing without worrying about various things.
The only thing we would like to mention is that there is a symptom that the red dye of the back color (cherry color) is transferred to the binding of the body and neck, but it is a symptom that often occurs after a few years and does not affect the playing.
The case that comes with the instrument is an aged brown case.
