1976 D-41 in stock in excellent condition!

Solid spruce top, solid Indian rosewood sides & back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard & bridge, 43mm nut width, 25.4" scale traditional Martin dreadnought body. The head is decorated with the coveted vertical logo, 41-style hexagon inlays starting with 3F, and high-end 41-style Avalon rosette and trim.

The pickguard has been replaced, and the top is believed to have been refinished at that time. The nut and frets have been replaced, and the fingerboard has been adjusted in the high position. Also, the bridge top has been shaved and adjusted, clearing the common neck angle problem. The string height is also correct and favorable.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, and dings. The pickguard has picking scratches with a fine feel. Weather checks are atmospherically present on the outer circumference of the body top, and there are some dents scattered around. The sides of the body are dotted with scratches and small dents, but there is no noticeable damage. The lower right edge of the back of the body has a ding the size of a grain of rice, and there are scratches all around the perimeter. There are some dents on the back of the neck at the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th fretboard, but they do not affect the playability of the guitar. There is a strap pin on the heel of the neck, and there are some rice grain sized dents on the side of the pin. There is also a scratch on the tip of the back of the head at the end of the body. The strap pin on the body end has been replaced, indicating that a PU was installed on this guitar in the past.

The neck is in good condition. There are no string marks on the frets and about 80% of the strings are left. The current string height is adjusted at about 2.2mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side. The saddle height has a small amount of adjustment here with little remaining.

Overall, the top has some refinishing, but the vintage atmosphere has not been lost, and the finish is very nice. The string height is also appropriate and the playability is good. The sound is also very powerful, which is typical of this year's non-scalloped SQ neck, but also exquisite with the sparkle of a 41! The condition is judged to be good overall, with no cracks, etc., which are common. With the price of new guitars skyrocketing, this might be a good target for this age group! This is a perfect guitar for a birthday guitar!

ソリッドスプルーストップ、ソリッドインディアン・ローズウッドサイド&バック、マホガニーネック、エボニー指板&ブリッジ、ナット幅43mmナット、25.4インチ・スケールのマーチン伝統のドレッドノート・ボディー。ヘッドには憧れのバーティカル・ロゴ、3Fからはじまる41スタイル・ヘキサゴン・インレイ、高級感溢れる41スタイルのアバロン・ロゼッタ&トリムなどが施され、D45程ではないもののしっかりと入れられた装飾が目を引く一本。

ピックガードが交換されており、そのタイミングでトップはリフィニッシュをしていると思われます。ナット&フレットは交換されており、ハイポジションは指板修正して調整されております。またブリッジトップを削って調整しており、ありがちなネックアングル問題をクリア。弦高も適正で好印象です。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、打痕があります。ピックガードには細かい感じでピッキングキズがあります。ボディトップ外周部分にはウェザーチェックが雰囲気よく存在しており、打痕も点在しております。ボディサイドにはスリキズや小さな打痕が点在しておりますが目立つダメージはありません。ボディバック右下エッジ部分には米粒大の打痕があり、外周全体的にスリキズ等があります。ネック裏2.3.4.5Fにはカポによる少々の凹みがありますが、プレイに大きく影響するものではありません。ネックヒールにはストラップピンが打たれており、その脇には米粒大の打痕が点々とあります。またボディエンドヘッド裏先端部分には当てキズがあります。ボディエンドのストラップピンが交換されており、過去にPU搭載していた事が窺い知れます。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは8割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.2mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。サドルの高さは残り少な目でここでの調整も少なめです。

全体的には、トップのリフィニッシュ等はあるもののヴィンテージとしての雰囲気は損なっておらず雰囲気よく仕上がられており好印象。弦高も適正でプレイアビリティも良好です。サウンドもノンスキャロップド&SQネックらしいこの年式特有の力強さを感じさせつつも、41らしい煌びやかさを絶妙に感じさせてくれますよ!またありがちなクラック等も見られずトータルでコンディションは良好と判断。新品が急騰するなかこの年代は狙い目かもです!バースイヤーギターにも最適な一本といえます!
