2019 Dove in stock with VOS finish and Anthem!

Along with the Hummingbird, the Dove is the iconic Gibson of the 1960s, and has been a favorite of many musicians along with the Hummingbird since its introduction in 1962. It has a square shoulder dreadnought body with spruce top, maple side and back, and a maple neck, and a slightly longer scale than the usual Gibsons such as J-45 and Hummingbird. It has a strong attack sound. The pickguard, bridge, and headstock are all larger than usual, and the sound and looks are both very attractive. This is a limited edition model with a cloudy VOS finish and LR Baggs Anthem.

The body has wipe scratches, scuffs, and dings. The pickguard has some picking scratches in a fine overall feel, and there are some light picking scratches around the soundhole. The body top has been polished and the VOS feel has faded, giving it a glossy look. There is a small ding on the first string side of the bridge where the tip of the pick was hit, and there is also a picking scratch on the lower right tip extension of the pickguard. There is also a small ding on the lower left side of the body top. There is a toe-shaped scratch on the left side of the body neck, and there are scratches and small dents on the body side of the neck joint. There is also a faint buckle scratch near the center of the body back. The 3pcs ply on the back of the neck has some paint chips due to aging, and there is a slight bump. Paint is peeling at both ends of the head. There is a faint mark of a clip tuner near the logo on the top of the head.

The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned in the direction to tighten and adjust. There are no string marks on the frets and about 70% of the strings are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.5mm on the 12F 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side. The saddle height can still be adjusted here as there is still a little room to spare.

Overall, there are some picking scratches, signs of use and aging, etc., but there are no major noticeable damages. Of course, the high-class feel of a Dove is still present, and the sound is the powerful sound produced by the maple body and neck. The neck is still in good shape and can still be used! The pickups are both piezo and microphone type, which will surely play a big role in recording and live performances. The custom store logo on the back of the neck is a nice touch!

ハミングバードと並び、1960年代のギブソンを象徴するダヴ。1962年に登場して以来、ハミングバードと共に多くのミュージシャンに愛されてきました。スプルーストップ、メイプルサイド＆バックのスクエア・ショルダー・ドレッドノートボディで、ネックもメイプル製で、J-45やHummingbirdといった通常のギブソンよりも若干長いロングスケールが採用されている為、骨太ながら高音にピークがシフトした、アタック感の強いサウンドが持ち味です。ルックス面でも当時Hummingbirdよりもさらに上位機種としてリリースされたモデルらしく、鳩のデザインされた特徴的な大型のピックガードやブリッジ、通常よりも大きな形状のヘッドストックなど、ルックス・サウンド共にその迫力が魅力のモデルです。こちらは曇った雰囲気のVOS仕上げで、LR BaggsのAnthemを搭載した限定モデルです。

ボディには拭きキズ、スリキズ、打痕があります。ピックガードには全体的に細かい感じでピッキングキズがあり、サウンドホール周りには薄っすらとピッキングキズがあります。ボディトップは磨かれておりVOS感は薄れてグロッシーな雰囲気です。ブリッジ上部1弦側にはピック先端部分を当てた小さな打痕が点々とあり、ピックガード右下先端延長線上にもピッキングキズがあります。またボディトップ左下には小さな打痕があります。ボディ左クビレサイド部分には爪先状の当てキズがあり、ネックジョイントボディ側にはスリキズや小さな打痕があります。またボディバック中央付近には薄らとバックルキズがあります。ネック裏の3pcsプライ部分は経年変化により塗装ひきが全体的に発生しており少しだけ段差が発生しております。ヘッド両先端部分には塗装剥がれがあります。ヘッドトップロゴ付近には薄っすらとクリップチューナーの跡があります。

ネックコンディションは問題なく、トラスロッドは締める方向緩める方向に調整可能で、締める方向にまだ回せ調整可能です。フレットには弦跡等は無く残りは7割程です。現状弦高は12F6弦側で約2.5mm、1弦側で約2.0mmで調整されております。サドルの高さもまだ少し余裕があるためここでの調整はまだ可能です。

全体的にはピックングキズや使用感・経年変化等ありますが、大きく目立つダメージはありません。もちろんダブらしい高級感は健在で、そのサウンドもメイプルボディ＆ネックから繰り出される迫力あるサウンド!ネック周りもしかっりしておりまだまだご利用頂けます!ピックアップもピエゾとマイクが搭載されたタイプでレコーディングやライブで大きく活躍してくれること間違いありません!ネック裏のカスタムショップロゴがちょっと嬉しいですね!
