As the top-of-the-line model in the SG series, it was released in 1982 and apparently remained in domestic circulation until around 1996. Based on the serial number, this instrument was manufactured in 1998 and is a model produced after the minor redesign of the bridge parts.It is now entering its 28th year. While it is not in mint condition—with cracks in the topcoat on both sides of the string nut (less than 5 mm) and scratches on various plastic parts (truss rod cover, pickguard, and back panels)—there are no buckle marks on the body back, and there appears to be no noticeable damage to the tip of the headstock or the neck grip.While there is some visible plating deterioration on the gold-finished metal parts, the condition is mild, and considering its age, you may actually find it quite beautiful. The pickups and controls function well, and it appears to be in full original condition with no soldering.
