A very rare violin bass has just arrived: the 5000/1 Deluxe, the top-of-the-line model of the 500 series, whose production was announced to be discontinued in 2015, making it virtually impossible to obtain a new one in Japan.
The specially selected German spruce top, selected flame maple side backs, one-piece maple neck and fingerboard are made of the finest ebony with a tight grain, all of which tell that this is a top-of-the-line model. The body, neck, and head are made of premium woods and adorned with multiple layers of handcrafted binding, diamond inlays on the head by Avalon, dot position marks on the fingerboard, a natural finish that is rare for a violin bass, and gold hardware. The pegs are made in West Germany (made in West Germany) and are equipped with Schaller pegs, but it is not known if they were made before 1990 or not.
Some pickups have a pole piece sticking out from the pickup cover depending on the production period, but this one is completely covered with the cover. The controls are 2 volume controls, 2 on/off switches, and rhythm/solo switch for volume boost. The hollow body gives a unique sound with a sense of saturation, ideal for reproducing not only the Liverpool sound, but also the sounds of the 60s and 70s.

In addition to the overall scuffs and scratches, there are multiple hit marks on the body top, a pick card with a play mark, a ding on the back of the 3rd and 4th frets of the neck, and a ding on the neck heel, but it has been cleaned and maintained and is in good playing condition. * The control knob has been replaced with the same type as the original (original is included). * The strap pin has been replaced with a locking type, but the strap side part is missing.

大変希少なバイオリンベースが入荷しました。500シリーズの最上位モデル5000/1 Deluxeで、2015年に生産完了がアナウンスされており、日本国内での新品の入手が事実上不可能なモデルとなっております。
特別にセレクトされたジャーマンスプルーストップに、サイドバックは厳選されたフレイムメイプルを使用、ワンピースのメイプルネックに指板には目の詰まった極上のエボニーといった、贅を尽くしたウッドスペックだけでも最上位モデルであることを物語っています。さらに、その高級木材で作られたボディ、ネック、ヘッドを幾重にも手作業にて象られたマルチバインディングが飾り、アバロンによるヘッドのダイアモンドインレイ、指板上のドットポジションマーク、バイオリンベースとしては珍しいナチュラルフィニッシュ、さらにゴールドハードウェアと相俟ってこの上ない高級感を漂わせています。ペグはMade in West Germany(西ドイツ)製のschallerを搭載しておりますが、こちらの個体が1990年以前の製造かは分かり兼ねます。
ピックアップは製造時期によってピックアップカバーからポールピース出ている物もございますが、こちらは完全にカバーで覆われている物となります。コントロールはバイオリンベースではお馴染みの2 volume controls, 2 on/off switches, rhythm/solo switch for volume boostとなっております。ホロウボディによる飽和感のある独特のサウンドは、リバプールサウンドのみならず、60年代～70年代のサウンドの再現に最適です。

全体的な擦り傷の他、ボディトップに複数の当て傷やピックカードに弾き傷、ネックの3～4フレット裏に打痕、ネックヒール部に打痕がございますがクリーニングメンテナンス済みで演奏状態は良好です。* コントロールノブがオリジナルと同タイプの物に交換されております(オリジナルは付属します)。* ストラップピンがロック式に交換されておりますが、ストラップ側のパーツは欠品しております。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
