USED Epiphone / FT-30 Caballero 1964 [12]

This is a vintage 1964 regular grip, easy to handle and good sounding vintage, well cared for though a student model. all mahogany body like Gibson LG-0, ladder bracing but large size, head space with great presence, e-logo sticking Screw-down guard, etc., this model has a lot of character.

The condition has been oversprayed throughout, and the benefit of this has kept it very clean with no disintegration of the cell binding. The distorted plastic bridge has been replaced with a striped ebony-like wood, which is very close in shape and color to the original and was probably done by a craftsman who knows what he is doing. The frets have been refretted with slightly wider frets than the original, the saddle has been formed with polished bone, and the neck seems to have been reset, which promises excellent playability. The condition of the neck, combined with the mass of the bridge, makes for a very lively sound for a model of this type! There are crack marks on the head ear joints. There is a fatal bulge at the bottom of the bridge, but it does not affect the string height. One of the pickguard screws has been replaced. The paint on the front of the bridge is chipped. The jumbo body has a long scale or a medium scale, but this size is a medium scale, so you can choose the one that fits your preference.
