USED Gibson / Southern Jumbo 1950s [12]

This model is one wing of the Sunburst Round Shoulder, which was released at about the same time as the J-45. The serial stamp is faded, so the official year is unknown, but this vintage model has a color tone around 57-58. The reddish color of the large guard is a spec unique to this period, and the pickguard alone has the power to raise the presence of the guitar by a notch or two. The overall condition of the guitar is also outstanding, and this half aura will not be released until 50 to 60 years have passed. The sound is unmistakably that of a glassy sound, and it is a wonderful piece with a solid boxy sound.

The condition is as follows: there are some cracks fixed in various parts of the body. The top side has a large size patch treatment, and the back has a delicate patch with different repair time. Please inquire for detailed locations. The crack at the neck heel where the strap pin was hit has been sealed by pouring glue. And the reason for the low price is the neck breakage correction. The head has been scarf-jointed from around the back of the 2nd or 3rd fret, and the head section is volute-shaped and quite thick. The head plate is original, and in order to keep it clean, the mahogany part of the original head was also sliced off by about 1mm and left to be attached. It is a very elaborate and beautiful work. The pegs are GIBSON DELUXE from the 70s. The modification history is significant, but the look from the front is great! The price is very hard to find without something like this.
