This is one of the finest hand-sprayed by Tom Murphy, a specialist in aged finish who has painted the early Historic Collection, using hand-selected top wood from a Japan dealer. The finish replicates the legendary burst on page 74 of the famous book "Beauty of the Burst," and Tom Murphy's signature depth of color and stunning finish will not leave the viewer's eye unmoved. The fingerboard is made of richly colored, slightly shiny, high-quality rosewood, which matches the color of the body top wonderfully. 3.77 kg weight is neither too heavy nor too light, but just the right balance to give a sense of stability when holding it and a well-balanced resonance in all registers. This is a gem that not only looks great, but also has great playability and sound quality.

There is a small ding on the lower back of the body and some aniline dye color transfer on the binding, but it is in excellent condition with almost no signs of use. The strings have been replaced and cleaned, and there are no playability issues.
