This is a 1982 Gibson "ES-335 Dot".
This is the first year of the ES-335 reissue.
The "SECOND" stamped above the serial number on the back of the head indicates that this is a second model, which means that it did not meet Gibson's sales standards at that time, mainly due to defective paint and other defects when sold new.
The color of this guitar is faded, but the sunburst part is thin, so it is assumed that this guitar became a second model.
It is a semi-vintage guitar except for the engraving on the back of the head.
Two engraved PAF pickups are installed, and the pickup date is 1982.
All parts including frets are original, and except for the deformation of the escutcheon on the rear pickup, this guitar is in good condition.

The key of the hard case attached is damaged.

1982年製のGibson「ES-335 Dot」です。
ES-335リイシューの初年度の個体。
本器はヘッド裏のシリアルの上の「SECOND」の刻印より当時、新品を販売する際に主に塗装などが不良でギブソン社の販売基準に満たなかったとされるセカンド品です。
本個体は褪色しておりますが、恐らくサンバースト部分が薄いことからセカンド品になったのではないかと推測されます。
今となってはそれほど違和感などなく逆に個性のあるルックスとなっており、ヘッド裏の刻印以外はしっかりとした準ヴィンテージ品と言えます。
ピックアップには刻印PAFを2基搭載しておりピックアップデイトも1982年を示しております。
フレットなどパーツも全てオリジナルでリアピックアップのエスカッションに変形が見られる以外はかなり状態の良い個体です。
