Stella is a distortion pedal that produces a low-gain crunch sound to a deep, mellow midrange drive sound.

The original bipolar transistor clipping, which is also used in the monica, and the combination clipping of carefully selected LEDs provide good compression and sustain, and great drive sounds can be obtained in all positions from low gain to high gain. LED indicator

The LED indicator is designed to change color depending on the battery level, making it easy to use for users who want to use distortion pedals on batteries.

When it came to the development of this pedal, our first sound inspiration was ProCo Sound's RATs, especially the early ones (Fringe~).

RATs can produce crispy crunch and distortion sounds with a strong presence, but the Fringe period in particular is wetter than later models, and has a different character from what you might imagine from the so-called "RAT" sound.

While redesigning the circuit with this sound in mind, a new sound was obtained as a result of an accident.

The result was a new sound with a strong middle like the RAT, but more natural and distortion-like, with less low-frequency rattling and fuzzy elements.

As a result, we were able to get an established character that could not be described as either the aforementioned Fringe or the Blackface that followed.

I then proceeded to build around that sound, bringing together various elements that I personally consider critical, such as sufficient volume range, sufficient EQ to obtain a sweet spot, and so on, until I was satisfied with the end result.

Stellaは、ローゲインのクランチサウンドから、深く芳醇なミドルのドライブサウンドが得られるディストーションペダルです。

monicaでも使用した、オリジナリティであるバイポーラトランジスタクリッピング、吟味したLEDのコンビネーションクリッピングにより、コンプレッション、サスティーン共に良好で、ローゲインからハイゲインまで全てのポジションで素晴らしいドライブサウンドが得られます。

LEDインジケータは、電池残量によって色が変化する様に設計されており、歪み系ペダルを電池で使いたいユーザーにも使いやすい設計。

開発に至って、まず最初のサウンドインスピレーションはProCo Sound社製のRAT、特に初期(Fringe~)の物でした。

クリスピーなクランチから、存在感のあるディストーションサウンドを得られるRATですが、特にFringe期はその後のモデルに比べウェットで、所謂RATらしさでイメージするものとはまた違うキャラも内包しています。

そのサウンドをイメージに回路のリデザインを進めていた途中、偶然の結果、新しいサウンドを得ることができました。

それは、RATの様に強烈なミドルを感じながらも、より自然でディストーションらしさを損なわず、低域のぼわつきやファジーな要素が少ない、素晴らしいサウンドです。

結果的に、前述したFringeともその後のBlackfaceまでの物とも言えない、確立したキャラクターを手に入れる事ができました。

その後はそのサウンドを中核に構築を進め、個人的にクリティカルな要素である、十分なボリュームレンジ、スィートスポットの得やすい充分なEQ等、様々な要素をまとめ、満足できる仕上がりにしました。

All items we sell are USED and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
