A 2001 Master Built Series Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster "Blackie" has arrived.

The builder is Mark Kendrick, one of the most popular Fender builders.

Mark Kendrick remains highly popular today as one of the key figures from the era when Master Builders first began to gain significant attention.
When it comes to Clapton models, many people likely think of three names: J.W. Black, Mark Kendrick, and Todd Krause.

Unfortunately, the certificate of authenticity is missing from this particular instrument, but we have confirmed on the dealer’s website that it is an officially imported model dated “05-18-2001.”

Eric Clapton, hailed as one of the world’s three greatest guitarists, continues to inspire a new generation of followers to this day.
His signature model differs from a standard Stratocaster in many ways; for example, it features noise-resistant Race Sensor pickups and a mid-boost built into the body, incorporating specifications relevant to today’s music scene from an early stage.

The unit we have received features the specifications from the Race Sensor era, making it one of the last models produced just before the transition to the noise-free version.
The black finish, symbolic of Clapton, is affectionately known as "Blackie."

There are very slight picking marks on the pickguard, but overall, it shows minimal signs of use and maintains a beautiful appearance and excellent playing condition.

It comes with a molded case used by Fender USA during the same era.
