The American Professional Series is the successor to the American Standard Series, which has been a long seller since its introduction in 1988, and has a highly versatile sound that transcends the boundaries of musical genres and comfortable playability that does not stress the player.

The modern deep C-shaped neck is slightly rounder than that of the American Standard Series, and the narrow tall frets improve intonation and tone rise. The newly designed V-MOD pickups retain the warm, crisp tone characteristic of vintage guitars, but have a hotter output for modern sound production.

The 22-fret design has a wider semitone range than traditional Fender guitars (9.5" R fingerboard for less clogging), and a satin-finish neck back paint for smooth positional movement. The treble bleed circuit prevents sound loss when the volume is turned down, making this model worthy of the American Professional name.

Although this is a used instrument, it remains in very clean condition.
There are no problems with playability, such as the condition of the frets and neck.
The pickguard has been replaced with a pearloid type to dress it up.
