While the Hybrid II series typically uses alder even for the natural finish, we’ve specially created this ash-bodied model exclusively for Ishibashi FSR.
The finish is natural, allowing you to fully appreciate the beauty of the wood grain.
The tight bass and rich overtones unique to ash wood bring out the true sound of the Jazz Bass.
Packed with the Hybrid II’s modern specs and playability, this is a truly “practical” instrument!

The Hybrid II Jazz Bass is equipped with the new Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil pickups featuring staggered pole pieces, and a sustain block is mounted beneath the vintage-style bridge. Vintage-style tuners, a satin-finished neck, a Modern “C” shape, a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard, and

low-profile frets on the Modern "C" shape with a 9.5-inch radius fingerboard provide smooth playability.
