Well-balanced sounding 1976 D-35!"

This D-35 was introduced as a dreadnought to accompany songs when modern folk music became popular in the U.S. The three-piece back is eye-catching, but the most important point is that the brace size is 1/4" instead of 5/16" like the D-28.
During the Japanese folk boom of the 1970s, the D-35 was a favorite of Takuro Yoshida, Iruka, Kenji Endo, Kenichi Nagira, and many others. This particular model was produced in 1976, the year of the bicentennial of the founding of the United States of America, which was also a time of great excitement in Japan. Glenn Frey and Don Felder of the Eagles, who visited Japan for the first time in the same year, also used this D-35. It is one of the most iconic guitars of this era.
There are dents, scratches, weather checks, paint stains and fogging throughout, paint wear and peeling from the pickguard area on the top to the side of the fingerboard, belt buckle scratches on the back, dents and peeling paint on the edge of the head, capo scratches on the back of the neck, paint peeling on the binding, binding peeling and repair marks, and binding peeling on the back of the neck. The back of the neck has a crack in the paint film near the neck heel, and the pickguard and nut have been replaced. The neck angle was corrected, refretted, fingerboard was corrected, nut was raised, and saddle was replaced at our affiliated repair store. There are some signs of use, age, and maintenance, but there is no significant damage. There is a sticker mark on the back of the head, a strap pin has been retrofitted to the side of the neck heel, and the back of the neck heel still has the marks (screw holes) where the strap pin was attached.
The neck and fret area have just been adjusted, so playability is perfect. The sound is excellent, and you can feel the well-developed sound that lives up to its appearance. The balance between the deep, dreadnought-like bass and the cool, refreshing treble can only be found on the D-35.
The pickguard has been replaced, but it is a chamfered black one, and together with the Grover pegs, it gives the impression of a Martin product of that time. The case that comes with the guitar is of course a blue case. The emblem is missing. There are some rust, stains, and scratches, but they are commensurate with the age of the instrument.
This is a recommended instrument with a pleasant sound.
