Fender's signature steel guitar!

This is the most popular 8-string double neck version of the Stringmaster, of which there are several variations. It is one of Fender's most popular steel guitars. The scale is 24 1/2".
The balancer on both necks and the pot date on the tone control suggest that this guitar was made in 1966. The paint is cloudy throughout, and there are some dents, paint chips, tarnishing and rusting of metal parts, as well as the removal of a later emblem (i.e., a screw hole has been filled in) on the front. The bridge covers are missing on both necks, and one of the volume control pots, the neck selector switch knob, and the set screw on the pickup side of the bridge plate on the lower neck are not genuine. Also, the inside of the control cavity is covered with aluminum foil.
The case that comes with the guitar is a Tweed case. Unfortunately, this guitar is not suitable for practical use due to some damages such as a cracked board on the body end side. Please understand that it is not suitable for practical use.
Both necks were tuned to the same C6th tuning (GACEGACE from the 8th string) when we received this guitar. Due to the unavailability of new steel guitar strings, the original strings were put on. Please forgive the deterioration of the strings.
The brightness of Fender's sound is combined with the warmth of vintage guitars. This walnut finish is relatively rare. If you are looking for one, don't miss it.

「フェンダーの代表的スティール・ギター！」

いくつかのバリエーションがあるストリングマスターの中で最も人気が高い8弦ダブル・ネック仕様です。フェンダーの代表的なスティール・ギターと言えるでしょう。スケールは24 1/2インチです。
両ネックのバランサー及びトーン・コントロールのポット・デートから1966年製と思われます。全体に塗膜が曇っており、打痕、塗膜の欠け、金属部品のくすみや錆が散見されるほか、前面には後付けのエンブレムを外した痕(=ネジ穴を埋めた痕)も残っています。ブリッジ・カバーが両ネックともに欠損しており、ボリューム・コントロールのポット、ネック・セレクター・スイッチのノブ、下段ネックのブリッジ・プレートのピックアップ側の止めネジのうち一つが非純正です。またコントロール・キャビティ内にはアルミ箔が張られています。
付属のケースはツィードの物となります。ボディ・エンド側の板が割れるなどダメージが見られ、残念ながら実用には適しません。ご了承くださいませ。
入荷時に両ネックとも同じC6thチューニング(8弦からGACEGACE)となっておりました。新しいスティール・ギター専用弦が入手できないため、入荷時の弦を張ってあります。弦の劣化についてはご容赦くださいませ。
フェンダーらしいブライトさとヴィンテージらしいウォームさが相まった味わいのあるサウンドが楽しめます。なおこのウォルナット・フィニッシュの物は比較的流通量が少なめです。お探しの方はお見逃しなく。
