This is a valuable piece made by Hayashi Instruments!
It is a copy model of Guild's D-55 from Rider, which was produced for a short time in the 70's. It has a spruce top, rose side & back, mahogany neck, ebony bridge & fingerboard. There are scratches, dings, dull metal parts, and peeling paint. There is a 5cm-long scratch on the bottom of the first string side of the top. There is also a 15cm long crack under the bridge on the top. There are several scratches on the back near the neck of the first string. There is a noticeable gouge on the back side of the head near the third string tuner.
The neck is slightly up, and the truss rod adjustment has been checked to about 30 degrees to the tight side. The frets are not uneven, but the remaining frets are low. The nut and saddle have been shaved and there is not much room to spare.
This is a rare model that does not appear on the market very often, so if you have been looking for one, this is the one for you.
