The 2017 Gibson Custom Shop/1959 ES-335 Lightly Aged Antique Sunburst is now in stock!

This Nashville-made model reproduces the specifications of the ES-335 from 1959, the early years of ES-335 production.

The laminated maple body and one-piece mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard are made of carefully selected high-quality woods only available from the Custom Shop.
The neck grip is "50's Round," a thick round neck shape that gives a sense of grip reminiscent of the 50's when the instrument was first manufactured.
The vintage-feeling "Antique Sunburst" color and "Lightly Aged" finish give the guitar the look of having been used for many years.

Two Alnico3 Custom Buckers, reproducing the original PAF, are installed on the PUs. Controls are 2Vol2Tone.
The tone with rich overtones characteristic of the original PAF has been reproduced well, and the semi-acoustic tone can be obtained from the fat and glossy bass range to the beautifully grained treble range.
You can feel the vintage sound and the quality that only a Custom Shop can provide.

The condition of the guitar is "Lightly Aged", so it is difficult to determine the details of the scratches, but there are dents on the back of the neck, buckle marks on the back of the body, and line scratches on the top of the body.
The entire body, back of the neck, and even the head have weather checks, and the parts have a used look and feel, and the fine scratches on the back of the body and other parts give this guitar an atmospheric feel!
The body color, the aged finish, and even the sound have a very vintage feel to them, and you can feel the Custom Shop's attention to detail in every aspect!

ES-335の製造初期に当たる1959年の仕様が再現されたナッシュビル製の本機。

ラミネイトメイプルボディ、ローズウッド指板を搭載した1ピースマホガニーネックはカスタムショップならではの厳選された良質な木材が使用されております。
ネックグリップには「50's Round」を採用し、肉厚なラウンドネックシェイプとなっており製造当初の50年代を感じさせるグリップ感となっております。
ヴィンテージ感のある「Antique Sunburst」カラーに加え、「Lightly Aged」加工を施しており長年使用したかのようなルックスに仕上げられております。

PUにはオリジナルPAFを再現したAlnico3のカスタムバッカーを2機搭載。コントロールは2Vol2Tone仕様となっております。
オリジナルPAF特有の倍音成分豊かなトーンがしっかり再現されており、セミアコならではの太くツヤのある低音域から音の粒立ちが綺麗な高音域まで得られるものとなっております。
ヴィンテージサウンドを感じることの出来るまさにカスタムショップ製ならではのクオリティーとなっております。

状態に関しましては「Lightly Aged」加工が施されておりますため傷の詳細などは判別が難しいですがネック裏に打痕、ボディバックにバックル跡やボディトップに線傷がございます。
ボディ全体やネック裏、ヘッド面までウェザーチェックが入っており、パーツの使用感のあるくすみ方やボディ裏等の細かな傷も相まって雰囲気のある一本です！
ボディの色味やエイジド加工やサウンド面までかなりヴィンテージ感を実感でき、カスタムショップならではのこだわりが随所に感じるるものとなっております！
