The Wren and Cuff UB-STONE FUZZ is the signature model of guitarist Shinichi Ikuta, who has played with ELLEGARDEN, Nothing's Carved In Stone, and solo.

In April 2022, a project was initiated to recreate a 1967 Vox Tone Bender owned by Shinichi Ikugata. This vintage Tone Bender had a different tone than many of the tone benders Wren and Cuff had been exposed to. Wren and Cuff were so impressed with this pedal that they decided to recreate its sound. After two years of prototyping and exchanging ideas, the result is a pedal that both Wren and Cuff and Mr. Shinichi Ikuta are very happy with.

Wren and Cuff UB-STONE FUZZは、ELLEGARDEN、Nothing’s Carved In Stone、ソロでも活躍するギタリスト生形真一氏のシグネイチャーモデルです。

2022年4月、生形真一氏の所有する1967年製Vox Tone Benderを再現するプロジェクトが始まりました。このヴィンテージTone BenderはWren and Cuffがこれまで触れた多くのトーンベンダーとは異なる音色でした。軽いゲートがかかり、スポンジのようなトーンと、上下にかすかなオクターブが混ざるような太い音色です。Wren and Cuffはこのペダルに感銘を受け、そのサウンドを再現することにしました。2年にわたるプロトタイプの制作や意見交換を行い、Wren and Cuffと生形真一氏が満足するペダルに仕上がりました。
