The PA-1QG (for guitar)/PA-1QB (for bass) is a revolutionary product that further advances the fusion of digital and analog technologies that FREE THE TONE has cultivated through the development of AMBI SPACE and TRI AVATAR. At first glance, the PA-1QG/PA-1QB looks like a digital equalizer effect pedal, but it is an "analog equalizer.

The equalizer circuit (including input and output sections) through which the guitar and bass signals pass is entirely composed of analog circuitry, so the rich tones of the guitar and bass are processed as analog signals. This is the same signal processing method as a graphic equalizer with an old-fashioned slide volume.

Although the PA-1QG/PA-1QB is an ordinary analog effects pedal as it is, the parameter control section of the PA-1QG/PA-1QB is a digital circuit that digitally stores and processes the state of various parameters accurately.
This makes the PA-1QG/PA-1QB a revolutionary product that enables real-time control via presets and MIDI, even though it is an analog effects pedal. After more than 10 years of trial and error, the PA-1QG/PA-1QB was finally completed. PA-1QG(ギター用)/PA-1QB(ベース用)は、FREE THE TONEがAMBI SPACEやTRI AVATARの開発で培ったデジタル技術とアナログ技術の融合を、更に推し進めた画期的な製品です。一見するとデジタルのイコライザーエフェクターに見えますが、このPA-1QG/PA-1QBは、「アナログ・イコライザー」です。

ギター、ベースの信号が通るイコライザー回路(入出力部も含む)は全てアナログ回路で構成されており、ギター、ベースの持つ豊かな音色はアナログ信号のまま処理をします。昔ながらのスライドボリュームが付いたグラフィック・イコライザーと同じ信号処理方法です。

そのままでは普通のアナログ・エフェクターですが、PA-1QG/PA-1QBのパラメーターコントロール部はデジタル回路になっており、各種パラメータの状態をデジタルで正確に記憶・処理します。
