* The year of manufacture was determined by the serial number on the jack plate.
This model is famous for Rickenbacker's 90th anniversary limited edition XC series, which was released in 2021.
The original model was manufactured from 1973 to the end of 1984, and is one of the few rare ones on the market today.

Based on the body shape of the Rickenbacker 4000 Electric Bass, this model is finished in the rare "Autumn Glo" color.
It also features a bolt-on neck (detachable neck), which is rare for Rickenbacker, which has many models with through-neck construction.
Maple body and neck with thick rosewood fingerboard. The fretboard has 24 frets, and the 14-radius fingerboard has a flatter radius than the standard model.
The fretboard has a slim grip and a medium scale for easy playability.
Other features include Cruson pegs, 1P white guard with front PU and controls mounted, original bridge, "R" tailpiece, and truss rod cover with familiar shape.

Two high-gain pickups that appear to be original are installed.
The front pickup is believed to be rewound. The pots on board appear to be made in 1974 from the date.
Controls are 3-way switch and 2Vol2Tone.
The bright sound of Rickenbacker guitars is a characteristic of this guitar.

The pickguard has some cracks, paint cracks, and some paint seems to have melted off.
The guitar was made in 1975, so there are some signs of use and deterioration due to age, but it is a valuable piece with a relatively high degree of originality.
There are no problems with the remaining frets or the neck condition.

This is a valuable 1975 480 model that was produced in limited quantities, but there are only a few of them available on the market!
The coloring is Autumn Glow, which is even more rare!
