The MODERN series was created as a 24-fret Modern style guitar that follows that philosophy in every detail.

The smooth elliptical neck grip, balanced asymmetrical body, and innovative neck heel are unmatched in playability and comfort. In addition to the classic flame maple top/basswood back body combination, the new lowered maple neck is more resistant to temperature and humidity changes and has a unique sound. The light sound of the lofty lofty maple is combined with the characteristic smoothness and midrange of the basswood to create the perfect tonal balance.

The fascinating flame maple used for the body top is further enhanced by a rich lineup of trans-colors. The headstock is finished in a bold gloss black, and all Suhr guitars, including the MODERN PLUS, are coated with a thin-skin poly finish. The paint is applied as thin as possible, resulting in guitars with superior sound and sustain.

An additional push/pull switch allows coil tapping of the humbucker pickups, further expanding the sound variation.

滑らかな長円形ネックグリップ、バランスの良いアシンメトリーボディ、そしてプレイアビリティと快適性において他の追従を許さない革新的なネックヒール。定番のフレイムメイプルトップ / バスウッドバックボディのコンビネーションに加え、気温や湿度の変化に対する強い耐性、そして特有の鳴りも持ち合わせるローステッドメイプルネックを新たに採用。ローステッドメイプルの軽快な響きにバスウッドの特徴的なスムースさと中音域が加わり、完璧なトーンバランスを生み出します。

ボディトップに使用される魅惑的なフレイムメイプルは、豊富なトランスカラーラインナップで彩られることにより一層その美しさを際立たせます。ヘッドストックは精悍なグロスブラックフィニッシュ。MODERN PLUS をはじめとする Suhr ギターには、Thin Skin(極薄)ポリ塗装が施されています。塗装の塗膜厚を可能な限り薄くすることで、鳴りとサステインに優れたギターが完成します。

追加されたプッシュ / プルスイッチによるハムバッカーピックアップのコイルタップが可能になり、更なるサウンドバリエーションを拡げました。
