USED FENDER USA / Precision Bass 1978~1980 Modified [03]

We have just received a vintage PB in player's condition.

The serial number and the stamp on the neck indicate that the neck was made in 1980, but the sticker on the joint of the body indicates 1978.

The following items are not original as they have been replaced.

Pegs -> HIPSHOT
PU→Maker unknown. No sticker.
Bridge→BADASS BASS II
Condenser -> Orange drop
Pot, jack, and strap pins have been replaced. Re-nut.
PG probably replaced, PG set screw replaced. (Screw holes have been filled in.) Fret board is probably original but a little low.
Fretboard is probably original but a little low. Nuts have been replaced and easily glued in the store.

The body material is probably ash, judging from the weight and the graininess of the neck pocket.

The PU and other electrical components have been replaced as mentioned above, but it still has a thick low-mid core.
The sound is characterized by the low center of gravity characteristic of a heavy instrument and the top lacquer coating, which blends well with the sound.

The truss rod is near the limit of tightening, but the neck is in good condition. This is one that can be used as an immediate asset.

The frets have been fretted. There is a sticker mark on the back.
