As part of FREE THE TONE's 15th anniversary project, we started the "Integrated Series" development project based on the concept of "giving shape to the ideal sound" by selecting and integrating all the elements that make up an effects pedal, utilizing the wealth of knowledge and experience we have accumulated over the years, as well as our solid technical skills and sense of style. The development project of the "Integrated Series" began with the concept of "giving shape to the ideal sound. The second product in the memorable "Integrated Series" is a "bass drive pedal.

The "BLACK VEHICLE" uses the newly developed HTS circuit for bass, which is synonymous with FREE THE TONE products, and prevents sound loss, adjusts the sound texture when the effect pedal is on or off, and outputs the input signal to the subsequent circuit in an optimal state.

It also features newly designed EQ and MIX circuits: the TREBLE and BASS EQ circuits are applied only to the drive sound. The original (dry) sound is unprocessed and mixed with the drive sound in the mix circuit. This EQ circuit and mix circuit minimize the phase shift of the signal, so that even when driven, the sound is not pulled back, and a superb drive sound is realized with a sense of pitch and sound contour.
There are two BOOST functions: "PRE BOOST" to adjust the volume sent to the overdrive circuit and "POST BOOST" to adjust the output volume. The "BLACK VEHICLE" is a "black vehichle".

The "BLACK VEHICLE" produces a pleasant drive sound with sparkling overtones and extended sustain, as if driven by a tube amp. It has a wide-range sound that is truly amp-like.
