USED FENDER USA / TELECASTER 1980 Black [03]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a black Telecaster made in 1980.

It has a heavy weight, which is typical of the 80's. The F-key pegs, head serial number, and non-serial F logo engraved joint plate give it a "typical" feel of this era.

There are some signs that the pickups were protected by wrapping wax or some other material over the octopus string to prevent howling, and the neck has a good grip.

The neck has good grip and playability, and the pickups, which seem to be original, produce crisp sound with good separation.
The neck position produces a moderately sweet tone, while the mix and bridge positions produce a crisp and clear sound even when distorted.

There are some paint chips scattered around the edge of the body, and there are some line scratches including paint dents and cracks near the horns and jack.
Overall, there are scratches, cracks, and minor dings commensurate with its age.
The neck has some minor dents and weather checks, but they do not interfere with playing.
There are also some white deposits on the tip of the head, as if the paint has been filled in, chipped screw holes on the pickguard, and rust on the hardware.
The guitar is in good condition for its age, but can still be used.

The serial number and pot date indicate that the guitar was made in 1980.
The frets have been worn out and there is about 50% remaining.
The selector knob, screws, etc. have been replaced, and a non-original Fender hard case is included.

Vintage prices are rising every year, and it is hard to say when instruments of this age will also rise in price.
Please consider this as a good opportunity when the price hike is still smooth.
