The Wren and Cuff Garbage Face is a fuzz pedal that creates the sound of Dinosaur Jr. guitarist J.Mascis in a single pedal.

Dinosaur Jr. toured the world with many of the bands that defined the 90's and influenced the world.

The sound of J.Mascis and Dinosaur Jr. cannot be achieved without a big vintage fuzz pedal. The sound of J.Mascis and Dinosaur Jr. is best described by many magazines around the world. It is no surprise that Wren and Cuff, the "Muff Experts," would create a signature model for J. Mascis.
It took over two years of work to complete the Garbage Face.

The Garbage Face is the result of a reworking of J. Mascis' own "number one Muff" from the ground up. This is not just another 70's Rams head. Garbage Face has included these changes in the value of the pedals.

Garbage Face also has a boost section that replicates J's favorite Germanium treble booster. And in between, there is a simple but supremely useful tool: a footswitch that switches between the two volume outputs.

Wren and Cuff Garbage FaceはDinosaur Jr.のギタリスト、J.Mascisのサウンドを1台で生み出すファズペダルです。

Dinosaur Jr.は90年代を定義した多くのバンドと共に世界を周り、世界中に影響を与えました。

J.Mascis、そしてDinosaur Jr.のサウンドには大きなヴィンテージファズペダルが欠かせません。それは世界中の多くの誌面でも扱われているとおりです。“マフエキスパート”であるWren and CuffがJ.Mascisのシグネチャーモデルを制作するのは当然とも言えるでしょう。
2年以上に渡る制作期間をかけ、Garbage Faceは完成したのです。

Garbage Faceの制作にあたり、J本人が所有する“number one Muff”をパーツから見直して再構築しました。この個体は単なる70年代のラムズヘッドとは異なっています。特にJのペダルは奇妙で、パーツの値が正しくないものがつけられていたり、長年にわたる経年変化でパーツの値が大きく変わっている部分もありました。Garbage Faceではそれらの変化も含めた値で制作しています。

また、Garbage FaceにはJお気に入りのゲルマニウムトレブルブースターを再現したブーストセクションがあります。そして、その間にはシンプルですが最高に便利なツール、2つのボリューム出力を切り替えるフットスイッチがあります。
