The Historic Collection is a reissue series of historic instruments produced by Gibson Custom Shop.
This time, the 2018 Gibson Custom Shop/Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul Standard Honey Lemon Fade is now in stock!

The body has an impressive maple top and mahogany back, with a one-piece mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard.
The weight is 4.0kg, which is relatively light for a Les Paul.
The neck shape is "Medium Chunky "C" shape".
It features a slightly thicker neck, which is typical of 1958 Les Pauls.
The 2018 model has updated specifications from the previous Hiscolle model, with the adoption of small frets, "Faded Red Aniline Dye" color on the body back, and "True Historic" parts for the plastic parts, and the attention to detail has been paid. The finish color is "Honey Lemon".

The finish color is "Honey Lemon Fade".
This color was released as a new lemon color in 2018, and reproduces the faded yellowish lemon color towards the bottom of the body.
The figured maple wood grain is beautifully highlighted, giving it a chic look!

Two original "Custombucker" pickups are installed.
The vintage tone that reproduces Gibson's vintage pickups "PAF" has a tight bass range, sticky midrange, and beautifully extended treble range, which is an attractive sound that can be used in the modern age.

There are some minor dents and scratches on the surface, but nothing that would be noticeable and the condition seems to be well kept.
The playing condition is also fine.
