Musicmaster made in 1964 is now in stock.
The lightweight body weighing less than 3 kg, the A-neck that directly leads to high playability, and the simple and chivalrous single-coil PU configuration all add up to a guitar that is the embodiment of refinement and "the bare essentials".

The Fender Musicmaster was Fender's first student model, created in 1956.
As the name suggests, it was designed for students and beginners learning to play the guitar, and came at a more affordable price point than the Telecaster and Stratocaster of the time.
Its greatest feature is its simple construction with only one single-coil pickup.
With minimal controls (only two knobs for volume and tone), the guitar was easy to handle and maintain.
The basic scale was a short scale of 22.5 inches, making it easy to play for players with small hands.

In 1964, the design was significantly changed and developed into the so-called "Musicmaster II.
This model featured the same offset body as the Mustang and Duo-Sonic II, and in addition to the 22.5" scale, a 24" scale was also available.
While the look and feel of this model was closer to its siblings, the simplicity of having only one pickup remained, and it was positioned as a "more casual Fender.
The sound is characterized by the straight and bright tone of the single pickup.
The lack of ornamentation and complicated mechanisms gave it a rough and direct sound, and it was later reevaluated by garage rock and indie rock artists.
In short, the Musicmaster was born as **"the simplest Fender guitar "** and, along with the Mustang and Duo-Sonic, is an important model in the lineage of the Student model.

The guitar is a beautiful instrument, not only in looks and sound, but also in the way it is a guitar, as if to say, "no tricks".
Both the rod and fretboard are in good condition.
The electrical parts are also in good condition, and although there are some signs of age due to its originality, there are absolutely no problems with its current use.
