Gibson 1966 ES-335 Cherry is now in stock!

We have determined from the serial and pot date that it was made in 1966.

The 14-degree head angle, narrow neck with narrow nut, chrome-plated parts with high crown inlay, and trapeze tailpiece are typical of this period.

Wood materials include laminated maple body, one-piece mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.

Two "sticker-numbered PAF" PUs are installed, with a Phillips thread in the front and a flat thread in the rear.
The output is bright, clear, and crisp, but also has the airiness characteristic of a boxed semi-acoustic tone.

Rear tone pot is made in '66, and other pots are hidden by solder, but they seem to be original.
The rear volume pot has been soldered back on.

The pegs have been replaced with another type, and the frets, nut, and rear pickup cover have been replaced.

There is a chip in the neck joint on the 6th string side, a chip in the rod cover, and other scratches, dings, and weather checks, but considering the age of the instrument, it is in good condition.

The sound is good, and the condition is also good.

シリアル、ポットデイトより1966年製と判断しております。

14度のヘッド角、ナットの幅が狭いナローネック、高めの位置のクラウンインレイクロームメッキのパーツ類、トラピーズテールピースなどこの時期らしい仕様です。

ラミネイトのメイプルボディに1ピースマホガニーネック、ローズウッド指板といったウッドマテリアル。

PUにはフロントがプラスねじ、リアがマイナスねじ仕様の「ステッカーナンバードPAF」を2基搭載。
明るくクリアで歯切れの良さがありながらも箱モノ特有のエアー感も持ち合わせておりお手本のようなセミアコトーンをアウトプット致します。

ポット類はリアトーンポットで66年製が確認できておりその他はハンダ等で隠れてしまっておりますがオリジナルと思われます。
リアボリュームポットにハンダをつけなおした形跡がございます。

ペグが一度別のタイプへ交換された形跡がありフレット、ナット、リアピックアップのカバーが交換されております。

6弦側ネックジョイント部に木部の欠け、ロッドカバー内に木部の欠けがございます、その他キズ、打痕、ウェザーチェックなどがございますが年式を考慮いたしますと良いコンディションをキープしております。

サウンドはもちろんコンディションも良い1本です。
