This is one of the precious Gibson Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1960 Les Paul Standard VOS, which was produced in 2020 as a limited edition to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the 1960 Les Paul Standard!
The 1960 Les Paul is loved by many guitarists, but the neck shape was changed in detail in 1960, and the 60th Anniversary model is reproduced as Version 1, Version 2, and Version 3, respectively.
This time, we have just received this one, which is a reproduction of the middle shape of Version 2, which is said to be in the transitional period!

The body is made of maple top and mahogany back with mahogany neck and rose fingerboard.
The neck shape is a transitional shape between the early 60's shape of Version 2, which still retains the 50's vibe, and the later, thinner shape of Version 2.
The slim neck was adopted around that time, and the grip gives the impression of being easy to hold.

The knobs are metal top knobs and Crewdson pegs with 2 knobs. Other parts are True Historic parts.
All parts are glued with Niwa and tubeless truss rods are used.

The finish color is "Orange Lemon Fade".
This color is a reproduction of the characteristic color of cherry tomato soup that has faded and become almost orange.
Weighing 3.81kg, it is relatively lightweight and attractive.

Two original "Unpotted Custom Bucker" pickups are installed.
With the unpotted Custom Buckers, you can experience the sweet sound with rich overtones characteristic of Les Paul, as well as the extended sustain and the vintage withered sound.
The "Bumble Bee" capacitor is installed to reproduce the vintage tone of the Les Paul.

There are some scratches, paint chips, and parts that are dull.
There is also a mark of a clip tuner on the top of the head.
There are some parts that show signs of use, but there are almost no noticeable scratches, and it is in good playing condition.
