Sterling presents its cost-performance model, the Ray4, now available used!

True to its name, Sterling is a brand established in 2008 that carries on the Music Man tradition. Its geeky yet endearing looks have earned it a following among entry-level players and StingRay fans alike.

This latest arrival is the Ray4, Sterling's most affordable model.
It features a basswood body, hard maple neck, and jatoba fingerboard. The neck and fingerboard combination offers excellent durability and rigidity, resulting in crisp, articulate tone.
Controls feature a simple layout: 1 Volume knob and a 2-band EQ (Bass and Treble boost/cut). Both controls deliver a natural, easy-to-use feel while retaining the nuance of the original StingRay.

Serial number suggests 2021 manufacture. There is slight discoloration on some parts, a small dent on the back of the body, a scratch on the pickguard, and some overall scuffing, but overall it shows minimal signs of use.
The neck is currently straight. The truss rod tightening side functions normally, but the opposite side is nearly at its maximum slack. Playability is currently unaffected. Fret wear is minimal.
