Body
The body top, often considered the face of the guitar, features vibrant, swirling "Quilted Maple." The body back utilizes "African Ribbon Mahogany."

The coloring is finished in "Northern Lights" with a High Gloss Nitro (lacquer) finish.

Neck
The neck is crafted from Peruvian Mahogany. Peruvian Mahogany is a slightly harder wood than traditional mahogany, characterized by its fast response. It is exclusively used in Aldi Meola signature models and limited editions, making it an extremely rare wood.

The fingerboard features Madagascar Rosewood, known for its distinctive striped pattern.

The neck shape is the "Pattern" shape used on models like the McCarty. Compared to the Pattern Regular, it has a rounder profile and offers a slightly grippier feel.

Pickups
Equipped with the "Narrow 408" pickup. This pickup, enabling 8 distinct sounds from 4 coils, originates from Paul's own experiments in the early 1980s with the 'Sorcerer's Apprentice guitar'. A mini-switch allows switching each coil between 'Single-Coil ⇔ Humbucker' modes.Unlike other models, it minimizes the overly thin "coil-tapped" feel, delivering a sound we confidently recommend even to players who typically favor G or F brands.

Condition
Some fading is visible on the finish, but overall it's in relatively clean condition with minimal wear. All playing-related aspects—neck, frets, truss rod, etc.—are in perfect working order.
Additionally, upon arrival, our repair center performed a full adjustment and fret leveling, so you can use it with confidence.
