"SIRE" is a modern brand overseen by none other than Marcus Miller. As a high-quality yet highly cost-effective active bass, it has been steadily solidifying its reputation in recent years.

The model we’ve just received is the V7, a 70s-style jazz bass that has become synonymous with SIRE.
It features 70s-style materials: a Swamp Ash body, a Hard Maple neck, and a Hard Maple fingerboard. The sides of the fingerboard have been rounded, offering a glimpse into SIRE’s commitment to improving playability.
And, of course, when it comes to SIRE, it’s all about the versatile controls. It features a stacked Volume/Tone knob, a pickup selector, a 3-band EQ, and even a mid-frequency control—making it an incredibly versatile setup. It also includes an active/passive switch, making this model virtually unrivaled in its price range when it comes to sound-shaping capabilities.
Needless to say, the sound offers a wide range of expressiveness—whether you want to create a warm tone with an emphasis on the midrange or enjoy a bright, punchy sound. It’s designed to handle any musical situation. At the same time, the overall tone is tight with a distinct texture in the low end, making it easy to imagine this guitar cutting through even in a full band ensemble.

There are some minor scratches and slight discoloration on the parts, but overall, it shows minimal signs of use. Upon arrival, the first-string tuner was malfunctioning, so we have replaced that part.
The neck is currently straight, and the truss rod functions normally.
