A stately 2008 model! A used 2008 American Vintage Precision Bass has just arrived!

Fender is, of course, the undisputed pioneer of the electric bass. This new arrival is from the American Vintage series—a long-standing bestseller on par with the American Standard and the top-tier model in Fender’s vintage reissue lineup.

With its subdued 2-Tone Sunburst finish and anodized pickguard, it boasts a stunning look that perfectly evokes the era. It features an alder body, a maple neck, and a maple fingerboard. The lacquer finish has developed a slightly matte texture over time, adding a nice touch.
The sound is characterized by a powerful low-end and a high-end that delivers clarity and punch. Its rugged yet refined character is incredibly appealing. The bright, sparkling tone seems like it would pair well with vintage-style Ampeg amplifiers and the like.

Although this guitar appears to be just under 20 years old, aside from scattered dents and scratches across the body, some discoloration on the parts, and minor unevenness near the pickguard joints, there is no significant damage. Considering its age, it shows relatively little wear and tear. It’s clear that this instrument has been carefully played and stored.
The neck is currently in good condition, and there are almost no signs of adjustment on the truss rod. It functions normally, of course.
The frets are generally on the lower side; you may notice some wear, particularly on the 17th fret and beyond.
* Pickguard and bridge pickguard are included, but there are currently no mounting holes in the body. Therefore, if you wish to install them, you will need to drill the holes yourself.
