The LS16, a top-of-the-line model from Yamaha’s flagship L Series, has arrived.
The difference from the LS6 is that the sides and back have been upgraded from rosewood laminate to solid wood.

It features a solid spruce top, solid rosewood sides and back, a 5-piece mahogany and rosewood neck, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge.
The top has been treated with ARE, a wood processing technology developed exclusively by Yamaha, to achieve a rich tone reminiscent of a guitar that has been played for many years.
The 5-piece neck construction is sturdy and resistant to warping, and the cutaway on the fingerboard edge ensures a smooth playing feel that fits comfortably in the hand. It delivers a powerful sound.

It is also equipped with a pickup for use as an electro-acoustic guitar. It is a passive model that does not require batteries.

There are signs of use throughout, such as dents, scratches, and tarnish on metal parts, but it plays well.
The neck is in good condition with no current issues.
