A vintage reissue model made in Mexico! A used Precision Bass from the Classic series has just arrived!

Need we say more about "Fender," the undisputed pioneer of the electric bass?
The model we’ve just received is a long-selling model from Fender’s Mexican-made series: the Classic series.

This instrument appears to be from 2007. While the current Mexican-made vintage reissue lineup includes the Vintera series, this model features the Fiesta Red color, which is no longer available in the current lineup. The combination with the anodized pickguard—which is practically the hallmark of the '50s reissue Precision Bass—is also a great touch.
The materials consist of a poly-finished alder body and a one-piece maple neck. Although it’s a ’50s model, the neck shape is a C-shape, offering a shallower profile for excellent playability. It features 20 slightly narrow and high-set frets, which help produce a delicate and precise tone.

The sound is powerful and brilliant, living up to its name and appearance. It delivers exactly the wild sound you’d expect from a maple-fretboard Precision Bass. This is a guitar that’s equally at home whether you’re playing aggressively with a pick or mixing in slap techniques for a dynamic performance.

There are scratches across the entire body, discoloration and rust on the hardware, dirt on the pickguard, and a small chip in the fretboard finish on the A-string side at the 5th and 6th frets.
Additionally, there are various dents of varying sizes scattered across the body sides and end. In particular, the contoured area on the back of the body shows significant paint chipping and peeling due to dents, and the instrument shows overall signs of use.
However, the neck is currently in good condition. While the frets show some wear, the guitar should play well for some time to come. The truss rod functions properly.

This is a model in Fiesta Red, a color that is becoming somewhat rare these days! If you’re looking for a Precision Bass with a maple fingerboard, this is definitely one you’ll want to check out!
