A high-end jazz bass-style model from Fujigen! The KNJB200RALMH-VWTg has just arrived as a used instrument in excellent condition!

Since its founding in 1960, Fujigen has been a leading Japanese electric guitar manufacturer and remains highly active today. With a rich history, this long-established brand boasts a distinguished track record—including the production of Fender Japan models—and a proven reputation for quality.
The model we’ve just received is the KNJB200RAL. It’s a popular instrument that serves as the premium successor to the standard Jazz Bass model, the NJB100RAL.

Based on the serial number, this instrument appears to be manufactured in 2024. It seems to be an original model created to commemorate a music store’s anniversary.
It features classic materials: an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The body finish is top lacquer. Additionally, this model has a luxurious look inspired by the 1966 Jazz Bass, with features such as binding on the sides of the fingerboard and paddle tuners.
It is equipped with a Seymour Duncan Vintage SJB-1 pickup, a classic vintage-style model from the company. In addition to the standard 2 Volume and 1 Tone controls, the Tone knob features a push/pull switch to toggle between series and parallel wiring.

The sound is exceptionally well-balanced, solid, and robust. It is tight and easy to play overall, yet the high frequencies extend beautifully. While the midrange is slightly on the firm side, considering the top lacquer finish, this instrument still has plenty of room to improve.

There are faint scratches visible across the body, but no damage that significantly detracts from the appearance, and it shows almost no signs of wear.
The neck is currently in perfect condition. The truss rod functions normally, of course.
