This is the Yamaha YAS-475 alto saxophone.
It is equivalent in grade to the current YAS-480 model, and this particular instrument is made in Japan.
While it’s popular as an entry-level model, it also has a solid tone—I’d describe it as bright with just the right amount of body.
It has the potential to be a long-term favorite, so I highly recommend this model.
While there are scattered minor scratches and small areas of lacquer wear from normal use, there is no major damage, and the instrument is in excellent condition.
All pads have been replaced with new ones, and the instrument has been thoroughly adjusted, so you can enjoy playing it right away.
